First Sailing
U-102 left Kiel under the command of Harro von Klot-Heydenfeldt on 22nd Jun 1940 and arrived at return on 1st Jul 1940 after just over one week.
Harro von Klot-Heydenfeldt hit two ships on this patrol, one was from convoy SL-36.
  • On 28th Jun 1940 he sank the British 211 ton Castleton.
  • On 1st Jul 1940 he sank the British 5,219 ton Clearton, sailing with convoy SL-36.
