U-1302 left Kiel under the command of Wolfgang Herwartz on 22nd Jan 1945 and arrived at return on 25th Jan 1945 after three days.

On the 3rd Feb 1945, U-1302 left Horten under the command of Wolfgang Herwartz and after four and a half weeks arrived at return on 7th Mar 1945.
Wolfgang Herwartz hit three ships on this patrol, two of these ships were in convoy, both of them were from convoy SC-167.-
On 28th Feb 1945 he sank the British 646 ton Norfolk Coast.

On 2nd Mar 1945 he sank the Norwegian 3,204 ton Novasli, sailing with convoy SC-167.

On 2nd Mar 1945 he sank the British 4,536 ton King Edgar, a member of convoy SC-167.
