19.04.1941 - 13.05.1941 First Sailing - active patrol U-143 left Kiel under the command of Harald Gelhaus on 19th Apr 1941 and arrived at return on 13th May 1941 after three and a half weeks.
13.05.1941 - 18.05.1941 Second Sailing On the 13th May 1941, U-143 left Bergen under the command of Harald Gelhaus and after five days arrived at return on 18th May 1941.
09.06.1941 - 29.06.1941 Third Sailing - active patrol U-143 departed under Harald Gelhaus from Kiel on 9th Jun 1941 and arrived at return on 29th Jun 1941 after nearly three weeks.
06.07.1941 - 14.07.1941 Fourth Sailing - active patrol U-143 left Bergen under the command of Harald Gelhaus on 6th Jul 1941 and after just over one week arrived at return on 14th Jul 1941.
17.07.1941 - 21.07.1941 Fifth Sailing On the 17th Jul 1941, U-143 left Bergen under the command of Harald Gelhaus and arrived at return on 21st Jul 1941 after four days.
17.08.1941 - 12.09.1941 Sixth Sailing - active patrol U-143 departed under Harald Gelhaus from Kiel on 17th Aug 1941 and after more than three weeks arrived at return on 12th Sep 1941.
