U-606 left Kiel under the command of Hans Klatt on 18th Aug 1942 and arrived at return on 22nd Aug 1942 after four days.

U-606 departed under Hans-Heinrich Döhler from Bergen on 17th Oct 1942 and arrived at return on 5th Dec 1942 after seven weeks.
Hans-Heinrich Döhler hit two ships on this patrol and both of them were in convoy, both of them were from convoy HX-212.-
On 28th Oct 1942 he sank the American 8,225 ton Gurney E Newlin, sailing with convoy HX-212.
