| Operations information for U-613 | 22.10.1942 - 27.11.1942 First Sailing - active patrol
U-613 left Kiel under the command of Helmut Köppe on 22nd Oct 1942 and arrived at return on 27th Nov 1942 after just over five weeks.
Helmut Köppe hit one ship on this patrol.-
On 7th Nov 1942 he sank the British 4,252 ton Roxby.
| 09.01.1943 - 18.02.1943 Second Sailing - active patrol
On the 9th Jan 1943, U-613 left La Pallice under the command of Helmut Köppe and after more than five weeks arrived at return on 18th Feb 1943.
| 23.03.1943 - 06.05.1943 Third Sailing - active patrol
U-613 departed under Helmut Köppe from Brest on 23rd Mar 1943 and arrived at return on 6th May 1943 after over six weeks. At 1200 HRS on 1st May 1943 in square BE 96, U-613 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 172 Squadron. The boat defended itself with flak and the aircraft was destroyed.
Helmut Köppe hit one ship on this patrol from convoy ONS-2.-
On 11th Apr 1943 he sank the Norwegian 3,835 ton Ingerfire, sailing with convoy ONS-2.
