First Sailing - active patrol
U-754 left Kiel under the command of Hans Oestermann on 30th Dec 1941 and arrived at return on 9th Feb 1942 after nearly six weeks.
Hans Oestermann hit four ships on this patrol, one was from convoy ON-53.
  • On 21st Jan 1942 he sank the Norwegian 1,344 ton William Hansen.
  • On 21st Jan 1942 he sank the Norwegian 2,153 ton Belize.
  • On 25th Jan 1942 he sank the Greek 3,876 ton Mount Kitheron.
  • On 27th Jan 1942 he sank the Greek 4,013 ton Icarion, sailing with convoy ON-53.

Second Sailing - active patrol
On the 7th Mar 1942, U-754 left Brest under the command of Hans Oestermann and after seven weeks arrived at return on 25th Apr 1942.
Hans Oestermann hit eight ships on this patrol, one was from convoy HX-181.
  • On 23rd Mar 1942 he sank the British 8,620 ton British Prudence, a member of convoy HX-181.
  • On 31st Mar 1942 he sank the American 441 ton Menominee.
  • On 31st Mar 1942 he damaged the American 490 ton Ontario.
  • On 31st Mar 1942 he sank the American 914 ton Barnegat.
  • On 31st Mar 1942 he sank the American 914 ton Allegheny.
  • On 1st Apr 1942 he sank the American 5,992 ton Tiger.
  • On 3rd Apr 1942 he sank the American 4,839 ton Otho.
  • On 6th Apr 1942 he sank the Norwegian 9,858 ton Kollskegg.
