U-1023 left Kiel under the command of Wolfgang Strenger on 20th Feb 1945 and arrived at Horten on 23rd Feb 1945 after three days.

On the 2nd Mar 1945, U-1023 left Horten under the command of Wolfgang Strenger and after one week arrived at Bergen on 9th Mar 1945.

U-1023 departed under Heinrich-Andreas Schroeteler from Bergen on 25th Mar 1945 and arrived at Weymouth, UK on 10th May 1945 after six and a half weeks.
