First Sailing - active patrol
U-104 left Kiel under the command of Harald Jürst on 12th Nov 1940. U-104 was lost on 28th Nov 1940.
Harald Jürst hit two ships on this patrol and both of them were in convoy: One was from convoy HX-87 and one was from convoy HX-88.
  • On 27th Nov 1940 he sank the British 8,240 ton Diplomat, sailing with convoy HX-88.
  • On 27th Nov 1940 he damaged the British 10,516 ton Charles F Meyer, a member of convoy HX-87.
