First Sailing
U-1195 left Kiel under the command of Ernst Cordes on 4th Feb 1945 and arrived at Horten on 8th Feb 1945 after four days.
13.02.1945 - 14.02.1945
Second Sailing
On the 13th Feb 1945, U-1195 left Horten under the command of Ernst Cordes and after one day arrived at Kristiansand on 14th Feb 1945.
16.02.1945 - 22.02.1945
Third Sailing
U-1195 departed under Ernst Cordes from Kristiansand on 16th Feb 1945 and arrived at Bergen on 22nd Feb 1945 after six days.
25.02.1945 - 07.04.1945
Fourth Sailing - active patrol
U-1195 left Bergen under the command of Ernst Cordes on 25th Feb 1945. The boat was sunk on 7th Apr 1945.
Ernst Cordes hit two ships on this patrol and both of them were in convoy: One was from convoy TBC-102 and one was from convoy VWP-16.
  • On 21st Mar 1945 he sank the American 7,194 ton John R Park, sailing with convoy TBC-102.
  • On 6th Apr 1945 he sank the British 11,420 ton Cuba, a member of convoy VWP-16.
