25.07.1941 - 09.08.1941 Second Sailing - active patrol On the 25th Jul 1941, U-142 left Oxhöft under the command of Paul-Hugo Kettner and after just over two weeks arrived at Stormelö on 9th Aug 1941.
28.08.1941 - 31.08.1941 Third Sailing - active patrol U-142 departed under Paul-Hugo Kettner from Stormelö on 28th Aug 1941 and arrived at Gotenhafen on 31st Aug 1941 after three days.
