First Sailing - active patrol
U-154 left Kiel under the command of Walther Kölle on 7th Feb 1942 and arrived at Lorient on 1st Mar 1942 after just over three weeks.
11.03.1942 - 09.05.1942
Second Sailing - active patrol
On the 11th Mar 1942, U-154 left Lorient under the command of Walther Kölle and returned to Lorient on 9th May 1942 after eight and a half weeks on patrol.
Walther Kölle hit five ships on this patrol.
  • On 4th Apr 1942 he sank the American 5,034 ton Comol Rico.
  • On 5th Apr 1942 he sank the American 5,030 ton Catahoula.
  • On 12th Apr 1942 he sank the American 5,032 ton Delvalle.

  • On 20th Apr 1942 he sank the British 5,587 ton Vineland.

U-154 left Lorient under the command of Heinrich Schuch on 12th Oct 1942 and returned twelve and a half weeks later to Lorient on 7th Jan 1943.

Fifth Sailing - active patrol
On the 20th Mar 1943, U-154 left Lorient under the command of Oskar-Heinz Kusch and arrived back at Lorient fifteen and a half weeks later on 6th Jul 1943.
On 23rd Mar 1943 in square BF 48, U-154 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 10 OTU Squadron. U-154 was not damaged by the attack.
On 18th Apr 1943 U-154 came under attack from an unidentified aircraft. U-154 was not damaged by the attack.
