U-216 left Kiel under the command of Karl-Otto Schultz on 29th Aug 1942. U-216 was sunk on 20th Oct 1942.
Karl-Otto Schultz hit one ship on this patrol from convoy RB-1.-
On 25th Sep 1942 he sank the British 4,989 ton Boston, sailing with convoy RB-1.
