| Operations information for U-35 | 27.08.1939 - 01.09.1939 First Sailing - active patrol
U-35 left Memel under the command of Werner Lott on 27th Aug 1939 and arrived at Kiel on 1st Sep 1939 after five days.
| 09.09.1939 - 12.10.1939 Second Sailing - active patrol
On the 9th Sep 1939, U-35 left Wilhelmshaven under the command of Werner Lott and returned to Wilhelmshaven on 12th Oct 1939 after more than four weeks on patrol.
Werner Lott hit five ships on this patrol, one was from convoy OA-7.-
On 18th Sep 1939 he sank the British 295 ton Lord Minto.

On 18th Sep 1939 he sank the British 326 ton Arlita.

On 21st Sep 1939 he damaged the British 6,014 ton Teakwood, sailing with convoy OA-7.

On 1st Oct 1939 he sank the Belgian 2,239 ton Suzon.

On 3rd Oct 1939 he sank the Greek 4,990 ton Diamantis.

U-35 departed under Werner Lott from Wilhelmshaven on 18th Nov 1939. The boat was sunk on 29th Nov 1939.The crew of U-35 were taken prisoner. Read about it at Hans Mair's site here.
