U-374 left Kiel under the command of Unno von Fischel on 29th Sep 1941 and arrived at Brest on 11th Nov 1941 after just over six weeks.

On the 6th Dec 1941, U-374 left Brest under the command of Unno von Fischel and after just over one week arrived at La Spezia on 14th Dec 1941.

On 11th Dec 1941 he sank the British 477 ton HMS Lady Shirley.
