First Sailing - active patrol
U-441 left Kiel under the command of Klaus Hartmann on 17th Sep 1942 and arrived at Trondheim on 27th Sep 1942 after one and a half weeks.

Second Sailing - active patrol
On the 1st Oct 1942, U-441 left Trondheim under the command of Klaus Hartmann and after over five weeks arrived at Brest on 7th Nov 1942.

U-441 departed under Klaus Hartmann from Brest on 7th Dec 1942 and arrived back at Brest on 11th Dec 1942 after four days.

Fourth Sailing - active patrol
U-441 left Brest under the command of Klaus Hartmann on 13th Dec 1942 and returned more than five weeks later to Brest on 22nd Jan 1943.

At 1215 HRS on 3rd Mar 1943 in square BE 55, U-441 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 59 Squadron. U-441 was moderately damaged by the attack. The boat defended itself with flak without destroying the aircraft.
At 2059 HRS on 17th Mar 1943 in square AK 86, U-441 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 120 Squadron. U-441 was not damaged by the attack.
At 1429 HRS on 20th Mar 1943 in square AL 55, U-441 came under attack from an aircraft of RCAF 423 Squadron. U-441 was moderately damaged by the attack. The boat defended itself with flak without destroying the aircraft.
22.05.1943 - 25.05.1943
Sixth Sailing - active patrol
U-441 departed under Götz von Hartmann from Brest on 22nd May 1943 and returned to Brest on 25th May 1943 after three days on patrol.
At 2050 HRS on 24th May 1943 in square BF 49, U-441 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 228 Squadron. U-441 was moderately damaged by the attack. The boat defended itself with flak and the aircraft was destroyed.
08.07.1943 - 13.07.1943

U-441 left Brest under the command of Götz von Hartmann on 8th Jul 1943 and arrived back at Brest on 13th Jul 1943 after five days on patrol.
