First Sailing
U-445 left Kiel under the command of Heinz-Konrad Fenn on 3rd Nov 1942 and arrived at Marviken on 5th Nov 1942 after two days.
08.11.1942 - 03.01.1943
Second Sailing - active patrol
On the 8th Nov 1942, U-445 left Marviken under the command of Heinz-Konrad Fenn and after eight weeks arrived at St. Nazaire on 3rd Jan 1943.
07.02.1943 - 27.03.1943
Third Sailing - active patrol
U-445 departed under Heinz-Konrad Fenn from St. Nazaire on 7th Feb 1943 and arrived back at St. Nazaire on 27th Mar 1943 after nearly seven weeks on patrol.
At 1216 HRS on 4th Mar 1943 in square CG 97, U-445 came under attack from an unidentified aircraft. U-445 was not damaged by the attack.
