U-651 left Hamburg under the command of Peter Lohmeyer on 7th Jun 1941 and arrived at Bergen on 11th Jun 1941 after four days.
12.06.1941 - 29.06.1941
Second Sailing - active patrol
On the 12th Jun 1941, U-651 left Bergen under the command of Peter Lohmeyer. U-651 was sunk on 29th Jun 1941.
Peter Lohmeyer hit two ships on this patrol and both of them were in convoy, both of them were from convoy HX-133.
  • On 24th Jun 1941 he sank the British 5,297 ton Brockley Hill, sailing with convoy HX-133.
  • On 29th Jun 1941 he sank the British 6,342 ton Grayburn, a member of convoy HX-133.
