20.05.1943 - 26.07.1943
First Sailing - active patrol
U-667 left Kiel under the command of Heinrich-Andreas Schroeteler on 20th May 1943 and arrived at St. Nazaire on 26th Jul 1943 after nine and a half weeks.
On 26th May 1943 in square AF 49, U-667 came under attack from an unidentified aircraft. The boat defended itself with flak without destroying the aircraft.
At 1540 HRS on 29th May 1943 in square AE 91, U-667 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 190 Squadron. The boat defended itself with flak without destroying the aircraft.
14.09.1943 - 16.09.1943
Second Sailing
On the 14th Sep 1943, U-667 left St. Nazaire under the command of Heinrich-Andreas Schroeteler and returned to St. Nazaire on 16th Sep 1943 after two days.
18.09.1943 - 11.10.1943
Third Sailing - active patrol
U-667 departed under Heinrich-Andreas Schroeteler from St. Nazaire on 18th Sep 1943 and arrived back at St. Nazaire on 11th Oct 1943 after over three weeks on patrol.

Fourth Sailing - active patrol
U-667 left St. Nazaire under the command of Heinrich-Andreas Schroeteler on 18th Nov 1943 and returned seven weeks later to St. Nazaire on 6th Jan 1944.
08.03.1944 - 19.05.1944
Fifth Sailing - active patrol
On the 8th Mar 1944, U-667 left St. Nazaire under the command of Heinrich-Andreas Schroeteler and arrived back at St. Nazaire over ten weeks later on 19th May 1944.
22.07.1944 - 25.08.1944
Sixth Sailing - active patrol
U-667 departed under Karl-Heinz Lange from St. Nazaire on 22nd Jul 1944. On the 25th Aug 1944, U-667 was sunk.
Karl-Heinz Lange hit four ships on this patrol and all of them were in convoy: two were from convoy EBC-66 and two were from convoy EBC-72.
  • On 8th Aug 1944 he sank the Canadian 925 ton HMCS Regina, sailing with convoy EBC-66.
  • On 8th Aug 1944 he sank the American 7,176 ton Ezra Weston, a member of convoy EBC-66.
  • On 14th Aug 1944 he sank the British 246 ton HMS LCI(L)-99, part of convoy EBC-72.
  • On 14th Aug 1944 he fatally damaged the American 1,653 ton USS LST-921, from convoy EBC-72.
