| Operations information for U-709 | 13.02.1943 - 18.03.1943 First Sailing - active patrol
U-709 left Kiel under the command of Karl-Otto Weber on 13th Feb 1943 and arrived at Brest on 18th Mar 1943 after more than four weeks. On 14th Mar 1943 in square BE 29, U-709 came under attack from an unidentified aircraft. U-709 was not damaged by the attack.
