First Sailing
U-967 left Kiel under the command of Herbert Loeder on 5th Oct 1943 and arrived at Bergen on 9th Oct 1943 after four days.
11.10.1943 - 01.12.1943
Second Sailing - active patrol
On the 11th Oct 1943, U-967 left Bergen under the command of Herbert Loeder and after over seven weeks arrived at St. Nazaire on 1st Dec 1943.
20.01.1944 - 23.02.1944
Third Sailing - active patrol
U-967 departed under Herbert Loeder from St. Nazaire on 20th Jan 1944 and arrived at Toulon on 23rd Feb 1944 after nearly five weeks.
11.04.1944 - 17.05.1944
Fourth Sailing - active patrol
U-967 left Toulon under the command of Albrecht Brandi on 11th Apr 1944 and returned just over five weeks later to Toulon on 17th May 1944.
Albrecht Brandi hit one ship on this patrol from convoy GUS-38.
  • On 5th May 1944 he sank the American 1,300 ton USS Fechteler, sailing with convoy GUS-38.
