Convoy UR-142 comprised 4 ships.

The first torpedo attack at 12:07 CET damaged the ship. The tanker was sunk with a finishing shot fired at 14:17 CET. The ship sank in position 64 29'N-23 04'W. The Master, 13 crew and 2 gunner were lost. Twenty-four crew and 7 gunners were rescued by the rescue tug HMS Reward. (W.164) and the Norwegian trawler RNoN Honningsvaag (4.277) and landed at Reykjavik. See also Empire Wold and Godafoss
